The Buzz Business Opportunity
The
Buzz is a free weekly periodical filled with fun,
humorous and sometimes useful information. It is meant
to be light hearted and leave the reader in a good mood.
The Buzz is placed free of charge in businesses such as
restaurants, chamber of commerce, oil change facilities,
hair salons etc. Places where people have a wait time
and would enjoy some free entertainment.
As a Buzz Trade Mark License holder, you will partner
with local small businesses to help them increase
business. Small business is the heart and soul of
America and it is our job to help them keep moving
forward!
Of course you are helping yourself while helping them.
You will be running a small business of your own which
allows you to control your future, not worry about being
fired or laid off and creating a better quality of life
for you and your family.
As a Buzz licensee, you are partnering with small
businesses to advertise in The Buzz. You set your own
prices, can trade ads for goods/services from the vendor
and you distribute The Buzz each week. We supply you
most of the content so all you have to do is sell and
make money!
Recession resistant:
Advertising
is always needed. When business is good, owners have
positive cash flow and buy advertising to increase
business and make more money. When business is down,
owners need to buy advertising to increase business so
the business does not go under!
Either way, they need advertising and The Buzz is a
low-cost provider which makes us VERY popular with small
business owners.
Distribution: The Buzz is distributed once a week. About
40 copies will be placed in approximately 50 locations.
Total distribution is around 2,000 copies.
Revenue: The Buzz is funded by advertising from local
businesses. Price is set by each license holder (That's
you!). Price will also be decided by length the ad runs.
You may choose to price 52 weeks to be less expensive
per week than buying just 4 weeks. Only 2 advertisers
per segment are allowed. Ex. 2 insurance people, 2 house
painters etc.
Territory: Each Buzz territory contains no more than
55,000 population.
Frequently Asked Questions/Answers:
1. What kind of person can be successful selling The
Buzz?

A person who:
Is a Self Starter and organized
Wants control of their future
Wants to work from home
Wants to make their own hours
Likes talking with people
Is not afraid to ask for the order!
2. Do I need experience selling advertising?
No. We will teach you everything you need to know. We
have tried many different sales and marketing techniques
and feel we know what works and what does not. If you
can sell then you can be very successful in this
business. In fact, our founder dislikes selling so he
created marketing tools that will make you partners with
your customers.
3. Who Are My Customers?
Mom and Pop businesses are the best customers to work
with because most cannot afford expensive ads in the
newspaper or on TV/Radio. You are doing them a great
service by offering this inexpensive vehicle where they
can gain exposure for their business. Restaurants are
always advertising so they are a great source of
revenue.
4. Where do I get my customers?
You will need to do some cold calling but networking is
another great tool to make business contacts. Chamber of
Commerce meetings are also great because you meet
business owners in your area.
5. How many hours a week will I spend working on The
Buzz?
Well, that depends on how much money you would like to
make? The more time you spend, the more money you will
make. There are no short cuts or secrets to success.
Hard work equals revenue. The more calls you make, the
more sales you will make. But you make your own hours so
you can also be home when the kids get home from school
or take Friday afternoon off to play golf.
6. Can I Run The Business From My Home?
Yes, and a home business is a great way to keep expenses
down to make your company more profitable. Also, check
with your accountant regarding possible tax benefits of
having a home office.
7. Do I need employees?
No. You can run the business by yourself although you
may want to pay someone to deliver the newsletter each
week to free you up to sell more advertising. You may
also want to hire someone to help you sell advertising
but you can do this on a commission basis so therefore
you would not need employees.
If you would like to increase your revenue, you may
decide to purchase several territories. In this
situation, you may find it necessary to have an employee
or two. You can make that decision when the time comes.
8. What Are The Costs To Purchase a Buzz License?
The initial cost is $4,500. This consists of a $2500
license fee and $2,000 for the exclusive rights to use
our handbook and style book, which contains logo, name,
icons, operational guidelines, marketing strategies, etc
in your territory of up to 55,000 people.
Training (excluding any travel expenses) at your
location is included in the initial fee.
